On October 19 and 20, H. E. Mr. Hu Yeshun, Ambassador of China gave interviews respectively to the newspaper Business&Baltic and Mr. Juris Paiders, President of Latvian Journalist Association. Ambassador Hu answered the questions of common interest raised by the Latvian side on the working visit by H. E. Valdis Zatlers, President of the Republic of Latvia to China, the economic and trade cooperation, the exchanges in the fields of education and culture etc. between China and Latvia. Ambassador Hu also briefed in detail the positions of the Chinese Government on the issue of rewarding the Nobel Peace Prize to Liu Xiaobo.
