Hon. Artis Kampars briefed on the economic situation of Latvia, the areas of top priority of attracting the foreign investment, and the opportunities provided by the enormous Chinese market for Latvia, and expressed that he personally witnessed the great achievements in the area of economic construction of China during his visits to China last year, believes that the Invest Expo and China Business Day will provide a rare opportunity of seeking cooperation for both sides. Ambassador Hu briefed the audience on China's economic and trade development situations since China joined the WTO and the present state of affairs and the prospects of China-Latvian economic and trade cooperation. He encourages the various enterprises in China and Latvia to make use of the platform of this Expo, deepen mutual understanding, seek opportunities of cooperation. He said the Embassy of China in Latvia will continuously provide all kinds of services to the enterprises of both countries to carry out cooperation.
