Riga Cultures Secondary School is a good neighbor of the embassy and has been offering Chinese language courses for nearly two decades. Amb. Tang hopes that the students could learn more about Chinese language as well as culture and be friendly messengers of cultural exchanges and mutual cooperation between China and Latvia.

Vice principal Mr. Berzins said that Riga Cultures Secondary School attaches great importance to multicultural education and cultural exchange. The traditional Chinese culture is broad and profound. He hopes that students will learn culture while learning foreign languages.
